Job Description: Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications:
▪ Valid OGUK (Oil and Gas UK) approved Medical Certificate of Fitness for
Offshore Work or equivalent.
Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
certificate.
▪ Valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certificate.
▪ Valid H2S Training (OPITO approved standard) certificate.
Experience Profile:
▪ Minimum 15 (fifteen) years’ experience working for major international drilling
contractors, service companies and/or operating companies.
▪ Minimum of 5 (five) years as offshore drilling supervisor preferably on Jack-Up. ▪ Worked a 4 (four) weeks on, 4 (four) weeks off rotation, offshore rig based.
▪ Have recent Jack-Up drilling rig operations experience involving oil/gas wells.
▪ Experience with drilling in depleted reservoirs, narrow clearance with regards to
collision risks.
▪ Experience with Extended Reach Drilling (ERD) and Geo-steering will be
preferred.
