We are hiring an experienced Senior Drilling Supervisor for an offshore Oil & Gas opportunity in the Gulf of Thailand.
Position: Senior Drilling Supervisor
Location: Gulf of Thailand
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Industry: Offshore Oil & Gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise offshore drilling operations in accordance with company standards, well management systems, and project objectives.
- Oversee drilling, completion, and workover operations, including drilling fluids and cementing programme execution.
- Ensure all personnel, materials, and equipment are ready and available at the rig site.
- Coordinate with drilling contractors, third-party service providers, and drilling, SSHE, marine, logistics, and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and company SSHE policies.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP reviews, and emergency response planning.
- Monitor operational performance, equipment readiness, vessel movements, and material deliveries.
- Ensure safe execution of drilling activities and report operational issues, unsafe conditions, and incidents promptly.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of offshore well operations experience, minimum 3 years of on-site drilling supervision experience & At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Drilling Supervisor.
- Experience in drilling operations in the Gulf of Thailand, including offline activities.
- Experience in development, exploration, and appraisal well operations.
- Exposure to jack-up and semi-submersible offshore rigs.
- Knowledge of well-site operations, drilling supervision, and drilling fluids/cementing programme execution.
- Experience in completion and workover operations.
- Valid IWCF Well Control Certificate – Drilling Level 4.
- Valid T-BOSIET, H2S Awareness, First Aid, and Firefighting certifications.
- Valid Rigging and Slinging training/certification.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
