We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician for an offshore oil and gas production operation in the UAE.
Position: Electrical Technician
Location: UAE – Offshore
Experience: 4–5 years
Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Instrumentation.
- Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of LV/HV electrical equipment and power generation and distribution systems.
- Mandatory CompEx certification – Ex01, Ex02, Ex03 and Ex04 for hazardous-area electrical installation and inspection.
- Experience with generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers and electrical protection systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and variable speed drives.
- Working knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office.
- Thermography Level 1 certification will be an advantage.
- UAE driving licence preferred/required as specified for the role.
